Fear of Love
The new collection, titled "Fear of Love," draws inspiration from the multidimensional relationships we have with love – attraction, desire, but also the fear of emotional vulnerability. Through this collection, Abstracto seeks to explore the human psyche, focusing on the contrasts we experience when approaching love: tenderness against insecurity, the desire for intimacy against the need for protection. The first chapter, "Aperture," serves as a symbol for the opening of the heart. Just like the iris of a lens that adjusts light, this collection gradually unfolds, offering a deeper understanding of the emotional world. The garments, designed with meticulous attention to detail, reflect this theme through their architectural form, fabrics, and lines. The color palette balances between soft, neutral tones that represent tenderness and deep, intense hues that allude to the fear and tension of love. The airy fabrics symbolize the fragility of emotions, while the more structured silhouettes portray the strength and protection one seeks in a relationship.Through the "Fear of Love" collection, Abstracto masterfully captures how love can reveal us, transform us, and yet hold us captive, using fashion as a medium to express these conflicting emotions.
